Rules

Terms and Conditions:

  • I have the right to not accept an order without reason.
  • I have the right to not complete an order. If money has been exchanged a partial refund will be issued with the price for time spent on the design deducted. See “Payment Terms & Conditions” below for more examples of how this works.
  • I have the right to deny any future orders you submit if you’ve proven to be problematic, hard to work with, disobey the rules or very obviously not read the rules.
  • Support will be provided throughout the design collaboration and the set-up process. If you run into any issues or errors after the design is complete and active on your website you can contact me and I will try to resolve these problems best to my ability or provide assistance to help guide you to resolve the issue.

General Terms of Use:

  • You cannot use any of my themes as a base theme that you use to customize with your own coding and then resell as your own creation.
  • It is mandatory that the design credits (both the link in the footer and within the coding) remain intact. A small fee must be paid to remove the front-end credit link with my approval, though credit will remain intact within the coding itself.
  • Under no circumstances are you allowed to resell or redistribute any of my themes without explicit permission. That rule applies even if you have altered the original design. Editing the code or styling yourself does not magically make the theme your creation or give you any rights to resell or redistribute the theme outside of the scope of using the theme for your own personal use.
  • You must have some knowledge of how to use WordPress and Coppermine. Particularly how to install a theme, create a menu, and add widgets through the WordPress Dashboard. I cannot be responsible for teaching you how to use these content platforms.

Premades Terms of Use:

  • You can change or alter my original coding outside of WordPress Customizer if you have the skill and the desire to further customize the theme to your tastes.
  • You can use my themes on as many sites as you like.
  • It is mandatory that the design credits (both the link in the footer and within the coding) remain intact. If proof is discovered that the credit has been removed without permission, measures will be taken to hold you accountable.
  • You cannot use any of my themes as a “base theme” that you use to customize with your own coding and then either resell or redistribute as your own creation, even on your own websites.
  • Under no circumstances are you allowed to resell or redistribute any of my themes without express credit. That rule applies even if you have edited my coding and altered the original design. Editing the theme yourself does not magically make the theme your creation or give you any rights to resell or redistribute the theme outside of the scope of using the theme for your own personal use.

Payments:

  • I only accept payments through PayPal or Ko-Fi
Please use this website to check the currency conversion rates.
  • All prices are listed and calculated in USD. I only accept USD.
  • Hi there! Thanks for being a smart responsible cookie and reading the rules as requested. The code word to use when you order is: Pineapple
  • Final prices will also cover the PayPal fee.
What does this mean? Well, PayPal charges approximately a fee of 3.49% + 0.49 per payment. Therefore, in order for me to receive the actual amount of money I’ve asked for the services I’ve completed, an additional fee will be added to the final price to cover this charge. You can calculate any amount for yourself using either weareindy.com or wise.com.

For example: If the final payment was $35.00, I would only receive $33.29 total after PayPal fees. Therefore, I would ask for $36.77 which after PayPal fees would be my original asking price. This allows me to receive the actual amount I’m asking for my time and work.

Payment Terms & Conditions:

  • Beginning January 2024, I will be asking for a deposit of half the discussed price upfront before beginning your order. The other half of the payment will be requested once the order is completed.
  • Payments for Custom Orders:
    • If, for any reason, you cannot fulfill the rest of your payment, you will forfeit your deposit and not receive your order. This also applies if you stop responding to any contact. I will wait for a maximum of two weeks time before your order will be deleted from my hard drive.
    • If you find you need additional time to pay, let me know and I will pause your order and allow you a brief window to gather the funds. Other exceptions can be made for emergencies, simply let me know and we can discuss it.
    • If you cancel your order without reason and, at the time of the cancellation, your order is nearly complete or has been completed, you will also forfeit your deposit.
    • If you find you are unhappy with my work and that, despite working together to alter the theme, you are still unsatisfied, you can cancel your order. This qualifies you for a refund of half of your initial deposit. This ensures I am compensated for the time I spent on your order despite it not being completed.
    • If, for any reason, I cannot personally fulfill your order, I will refund you your deposit.
    • Once the order has been completed and the files have been sent to you, refunds are no longer available. You are also responsible for saving your custom order, keeping a copy somewhere safe, and installing it yourself unless it is requested of me.
  • Payments for Custom Headers:
The above rules for custom orders also apply to custom header orders. The only difference is a deposit will only be requested when ordering either the Custom Header Pack.

The Process:

  • Once I receive your email with your order request I will look it over and respond with my acceptance or rejection. Please allow me a week to respond, if in that time you haven’t heard back feel free to email me directly for an update on your status.
  • If your order is accepted, I will give you an approximate timeline of how long it might take me to complete your order. This does not include real-life distractions or daily responsibilities that keep me off my computer and, therefore, unable to design. There could be delays, but you will be updated about them should they occur throughout the design process. Please be patient and remember this is the equivalent of a side hustle for me in between being a full-time caregiver for my mother.
  • When ordering a custom graphic or header, you will receive a lightly tagged version (this is to prevent theft before payment) of the graphic for final approval before the final payment. If there is anything you don’t like and wish to change, this should be done before the final payment. I’m always open to making a few adjustments such as font colors, font placements, font choices and or the color theme if you do not like the final design.
  • When ordering a custom theme, once we’ve hammered out all the necessary details for me to begin working on your theme, you can expect to receive an email with a link to a live preview from my site once I’ve finished. This might be after further email correspondence where we discuss more details and or your approval during the design process. Once you receive your live preview of your theme, this is the beginning of the final step, where I look to you for your input on the final design. Once you’ve seen the theme in action and examined the design, you have the opportunity to let me know if everything looks perfect or if there is anything you don’t like. This is your last chance to let me know of any changes or adjustments that you wish to be made before you receive your theme.
  • Once the editing window is closed following your final approval of the theme, you will then be asked to send the last half (or whole) of your payment. This also applies to custom graphics or headers.
  • Once payment is received, I will then email you a .zip file with the theme for you to install on your site or your custom header (yes, this will be untagged) to begin using.
